ART imitates life and life imitates art. When actress Kate Henshaw lost her bid to become a member of the House of Representatives in 2015 by crashing out during the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primaries, many expected that would be her last foray into politics.
But the veteran actress is not one to be discouraged as she flexes her muscles in the upcoming political thriller, ‘4th Republic’ due for release in April and helmed by director and writer, Ishaya Bako.
Also starring Bimbo Manuel, Sani Muazu, Enyinna Nwigwe, Linda Ejiofor and Yakubu Mohammed, Henshaw plays Mabel King, a governorship candidate in 4th Republic.
