Africa-Press – Nigeria. Two residents of Ugba community in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State were abducted by unknown persons in the early hours of Wednesday.
The victims have been identified as Mr. Kpishi Terhile and Madam Demetindi Nongo.
The incident reportedly occurred at about 1:00 a.m. at the residence of one Teacher Jerry Ugba, located near the General Hospital in the area.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that the abductors carried out the operation without violence, describing it as calm and coordinated.
Community sources noted that the abduction followed a pattern similar to previous incidents recorded in the area.
As of the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of the abducted residents remain unknown.
Efforts to confirm the incident with the Spokesperson of the Benue State Police Command, DSP Udeme Edet, proved abortive, as calls to her mobile telephone were not returned.
