Fayose vs Obasanjo: ‘Two deputy devils fighting’ – Sowore

Africa-Press – Nigeria. Activist and former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore has described the renewed fight between the ex-governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, and former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, as a clash between two deputy ‘devils’.

He made this known in his reaction on X on Monday.

DAILY POST reports that Fayose and Obasanjo on Monday resumed hostilities after the former referred to the latter’s recent comment as irresponsible.

This followed remarks by Obasanjo at Fayose’s 65th birthday, noting that he had forgiven the former governor despite how he had treated him in the past.

Reacting, Sowore wrote on X, “Obasanjo versus Fayose is when two deputy devils jam each other.

“The way Fayose insulted Obasanjo, telling him he ‘belongs to the zoo’ after Obasanjo made those unpleasant remarks at his birthday, was something else entirely.”
