Africa-Press – Nigeria. Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has commended the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies for their swift response to the recent kidnapping incident at St Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary Schools in Papiri, Agwara Local Government Area.
The governor made this commendation during a sympathy visit by the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone 7, Victor Olaiya, at the Government House in Minna.
Bago reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting rescue efforts and ensuring the safe return of the abducted students and teachers.
Earlier, AIG Victor Olaiya assured that additional measures are being taken to aid rescue operations, including the deployment of more tactical teams.
He urged residents to cooperate with security agencies to ensure a successful rescue exercise.
