Africa-Press – Nigeria. A member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dickson Iroegbu, says the speech by President Bola Tinubu on New Year’s day was empty.
Iroegbu stated this on Friday during an interview on ‘Prime Time’, a programme on Arise Television monitored .
“First, where’s the president? From where did he make this so-called address to the Nigerian people? He’s disconnected from the realities on ground.
“The President is nowhere to be found. It is 2026, and he sent a speech from a location unknown to Nigerians. His speech is so hollow and empty because he doesn’t know what Nigerians are going through
“We just got into 2026 and Christians have already been slaughtered this new year, and the president is nowhere to be found.
“President Tinubu’s so-called New Year’s address had nothing to do with the Nigerian people. The issues raised in his speech clearly show that he’s just playing to the gallery,” he said.
