The event brought together government officials, ambassadors, company CEOs, and senior executives from all levels, creating a memorable occasion of gratitude, connection, and shared vision. The gathering reaffirmed Ecobank’s deep commitment to strengthening relationships and fostering sustainable growth across Rwanda and the African continent.

During her opening remarks, Carine Umutoni, Managing Director of Ecobank Rwanda, warmly welcomed guests and expressed sincere appreciation to all who have continued to believe in and partner with Ecobank on its journey.

We would also like to acknowledge and express our sincere appreciation to the National Bank of Rwanda, represented this evening by Deputy Governor Nick Barigye. We are deeply grateful for your continued guidance and partnership in fostering a resilient, inclusive, and innovative financial sector. The keynote address was delivered by Michael Larbie, Group Executive, Corporate and Investment Banking at Ecobank Group — a distinguished pan-African banking leader whose inspiring message focused on Ecobank’s role as a leading financial institution across the continent.
