Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda international Hakim Sahabo was one of the stand-out performers as he put up a great showing for Beerschot who beat KV Mechelen 1-0.

Goalkeeper Olivier Kwizera was also impressive between the posts for Al Kawkab who beat Mudhar F 2-1 at the Al Shoalaj Stadium while Samuel Gueulette and Marvin Kury were both impressive for their respective teams in Belgium and Switzerland respectively.

Doyle Kamari, who is on loan at Crawley Town from Brighton & Hove Albion, scored an own goal in the 33rd minute before being replaced by Panutche Camara afyer 87 minutes as his side lost 2-0 to Cambridge United on Saturday.

Belgium

Hakim Sahabo was exceptional in the heart of midfield and played full throttle for Beerschot who defeated Mechelen 1-0 on Sunday.

Elsewhere in the Belgian second tier league, central midfielder was introduced in the 74th minute as his team Raal La Louviere beat KAS Eupen 3-0. Raal could snatch one of the promotion tickets as they currently sit in third place on the table with 46 points from 23 games.

Right back Warren Kamanzi came from the bench in the 76th minute to set up fellow substitute Edjouma in the 94th minute as Toulouse walloped Angers 4-0 at Stade Raymond Kopa on Sunday.

Ligue 2 leaders Lorient defeated Rodez 3-1on Saturday, at Stade du Moustoir. Striker Joel Mugisha Mvuka came in for Panos Katseris on the 80th.

In the fourth tier league, center back Bryan Ngwabije lasted 90 minutes for Blois Foot 41 who lost 2-1 to Stade Briochin on Saturday.

Azerbaijan

Ange Mutsinzi is expected to return to action on Tuesday, March 4 when Turan host Zira FK.

Meanwhile, Innocent Nshuti’s Sabail FK will also host Shamakhi on Monday.

Egypt

Winger Rafael York could make his debut on Tuesday when his team Zed FC takes on Ismaily.

Switzerland

Marvin Kury came in for Achour in the 71st minute as Delemont drew 1-1 with Luzern II in the Swiss 3rd league.

Also in the Swiss Classica, which is the fourth tier league, skipper Quentin Rushenguziminega played 90 minutes for FC Echallens who drew 2-2 with Sion II.

Saudi Arabia

Goalkeeper Olivier Kwizera was superb for Al Kawkab who beat Mudhar 2-1 in the Saudi second tier on Thursday.

Defensive midfielder Steve Rubanguka also played for Al Nojoom who beat Hadjer Club 2-0.

Tunisia

Enforcer Bonheur Mugisha will play on Tuesday for Stade Tunisien against JS Omrane.

Anicet Ishimwe was introduced in the second half as his team Olympique Beja lost 1-0 to Zarzis on Saturday.

South Africa

Goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari wasn’t in the match day squad of Kaizer Chiefs who were pipped 1-0 by Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.
