Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda’s RSSB Tigers and Angola’s Petro de Luanda have secured the first two playoff spots in the 2026 Kalahari Conference, currently taking place at the SunBet Arena.
Despite not playing on Friday, the Tigers confirmed their place in the postseason thanks to their unbeaten record, combined with Nairobi City Thunder’s third loss in four games.
As of April 3, the RSSB Tigers sit at the top of the Kalahari Conference standings. They are followed by Petro de Luanda, who improved to a 3–1 record after a dominant 100–75 victory over Dar City on Friday night.
Meanwhile, the race for the remaining two playoff spots remains wide open. Teams still in contention include Al Ahly, Ly, Dar City, Nairobi City Thunder, and Johannesburg Giants.
The playoffs are scheduled to take place in Kigali later in May.
