Volleyball: U-21 team set for Africa volleyball championship

Africa-Press – Rwanda. The U-21 national volleyball team on Saturday August 13, departed for Tunis, Tunisia ahead of the forthcoming Africa U-21 men’s nations volleyball championship, scheduled for August 15-23.

Rwanda’s U-21 team has previously impressed in the same tournament especially after winning fourth spot in 2010.

In 2013, the team finished in 3rd place, something that allowed them to participate at the World Cup, in Turkey. The team also finished 4th in 2018.

The team is being coached by Dominique Ntawangundi.

By press time Saturday, the technical meeting was yet to be held to conduct draws of how teams would face each other on Sunday.
