Africa-Press – Rwanda. Canal+ Rwanda has launched its summer campaign dubbed the ‘ROYAL’ or ‘Umukiriya ni Umwami’ in Kinyarwanda, giving clients access to premium packages, reduced subscription and decoder prices, and a lineup of entertainment, all in a royal theme.
Unveiled on June 3 in a monarchy setup that reflected the campaign’s royal concept, the promotion runs from June 2 to July 6. It offers existing and new subscribers benefits, including a bonus to access all Canal+ channels, and promotions on decoder packages.
Existing customers will have to renew whichever subscription they were using before April 27, and they will be allowed 15 days of access to all 400 channels offered by Canal+.
“Even if you renew Ikaze, that is our first package, you can get all the channels for 15 days. So you can enjoy the world of entertainment that our channels are offering you,” Léger Ossombi Dira, Canal+ Rwanda’s Marketing Manager, explained.
Blaise Butoyi, Director of Sales, pointed out that new customers will also enjoy a decreased decoder price promotion from the typical Rwf30,000 to Rwf20,000, which covers Rwf5,000 for the decoder, Rwf5,000 for installation, and Rwf10,000 for an initial subscription.
Sophie Tchatchoua, Managing Director of CANAL+ Rwanda, underscored that the ‘ROYAL’ promotion aims at bringing a variety of options to the clients, giving them the privilege to access Canal+ Rwanda’s full packages.
