Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda defeated Sierra Leone by 154/8 to 121/5 in the ongoing West Africa Trophy Tour Cricket Tournament in Lagos, Nigeria.

The game at Tafawa Balewa Square Cricket Oval saw Rwanda being dominant throughout the encounter.

Hamza Khan of Rwanda who had 59 (44) was superb in the game and was named best player on the day.

This was Rwanda’s first win in the competition after losing to Ghana by 3 runs and Nigeria by 57 runs in the opening two games.

Rwanda is the only country outside West Africa invited for the tournament which started on October 4 and will end on October 11.
