Africa-Press – Rwanda. All teams that will take part in the much-anticipated playoffs of the 2023 Basketball Africa League (BAL) are expected to be in Kigali by Tuesday.
The weeklong continental club basketball showpiece, slated for May 20-27 at BK Arena, will bring together eight teams from eight countries including four from each of Sahara and Nile Conferences.
Six of the teams will be residing at Four Points by Sheraton Kigali, while two will be camping at Radisson Blu Hotel.
The competition will be held in a single-elimination format that will feature quarterfinals, semifinals and the final.
Home side Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will take on Egyptian giants Al Ahly in one of the must-watch quarterfinals that will take place Saturday, May 20, at 7.30pm Kigali Time.
