Africa-Press – Rwanda. The CAF Champions League preliminary round match between APR FC and Egypt’s Pyramids has been postponed, with the first leg set for September 28 and the second leg set for October 4.
The first leg was originally scheduled to be played between September 19 to 21, while the second leg would have been played a week later, between September 26and 28.
The change of the schedule was partly informed by the fact that Rwanda will host the 2025 World Cycling Championships in September, and roads around Amahoro Stadium will be closed.
The last time the two teams met ended in Pyramids favour where they won 5-1 on aggregate (1-1 in Kigali and 4-1 for Pyramids in Egypt).
