Africa-Press – Rwanda. Spanish coach Carlos Alos Ferrer has signed a one-year contract to become Belarusian senior national team head coach, Times Sport has established.

The outgoing Amavubi head coach signed a one-year deal with the White Wings on Tuesday, August 8, replacing Georgy Kondratyev.

The development comes just hours after Ferrer announced that he is leaving his job as Amavubi coach after 16 months of service dating from March 2022.

Belarus, currently ranked 98 in the world, has never qualified for any major FIFA competition since the country broke away from the former Soviet Union on July 27, 1990.
