The national handball team (U20) head coach Antoine Ntabangayimana says his team is ready to put up a good show during the U-20 Africa Men’s Handball Championship that kicks-off at the BK Arena on Saturday.
“We want to have a memorable tournament and possibly qualify for the final and I have urged my players to push themselves to the limit,” Ntabangayimana said.
Hosts Rwanda are placed in tough Group A alongside Tunisia, Morocco, Angola, and the Central African Republic, whereas Group B consists of Egypt, Algeria, Congo Brazzaville, and Libya.
The six nations that will qualify in the junior Africa nations Championship will represent the continent during the U-21 World championship in 2023.
