Rwanda Morocco Drawn in Group B U20 African Nations Championship

Africa-Press – Rwanda. The draw for the 2025 Men’s U20 African Nations Volleyball Championship, held in Cairo, Egypt, on Friday, September 12, placed Rwanda in Group B alongside Morocco, Kenya, and Cameroon.

Coached by Dominique Ntawangundi, Rwanda play their first match against Morocco on the opening day of the continental youth tournament on Saturday at 1:00 pm CAT before Cameroon face Kenya.

“It’s a tough group. Looking at the legacy behind each and every team proves that. But my squad is well selected and capable of challenging our opponents. This will depend on how adaptive we are going to be,” Ntawangundi said.

Meanwhile, Group A comprises Algeria, Zimbabwe, Uganda, DR Congo, and hosts Egypt.

Egypt also play on the opening day against Zimbabwe after Uganda take on DR Congo.

The tournament will see the champions win a ticket to represent Africa at the 2026 FIVB U21 Men’s Volleyball World Championship.

All matches will be played at Hassan Mostafa Hall.
