Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwandan coach Grace Nyinawumuntu has been appointed as the head coach of Canadian youth team Ottawa Gloucester Hornets.

Nyinawumuntu previously worked as the Technical Director of Paris Saint-Germain Youth Academy in Huye for three years before landing the job with the Canadian outfit.

The Ottawa Gloucester Hornets follows the Academy system and they have teams of different age categories ranging from U5 to U18s for both men and women.

“The Ottawa Gloucester Hornets are extremely pleased to welcome coach Grace to our coaching team! Grace brings a wealth of experience as both a player and a coach at national and club levels, with an impressive track record of contributing to the growth and development of youth and women’s soccer on Rwanda and beyond,” the club announced in an official statement on Wednesday.

Nyinawumuntu won eight Rwanda Women’s Premier League titles with AS Kigali and also three trophies at PSG Academies World Cup Championships. She also coached the Rwanda women’s national team.
