Africa-Press – Rwanda. Police FC head coach Vincent Mashami has officially bid farewell to Police FC.
The experienced tactician has been at the helm of the club for three seasons during which he led it to two trophies: Peace Cup and Super Cup.
In a message shared on social media, Mashami said he leaves with a heart full of joy and gratitude, as he thanked his employers for believing in him and supporting since his arrival.
“I would also like to thank the club management, staff, and all the players for their dedication and hard work. Thanks for everything we achieved together. I wish the club and our lovely fans nothing but the best,” he wrote.
Before joining Police FC, Mashami had stints with Isonga FC and served as assistant coach for Rwanda’s U17 national team that qualified for the 2011 FIFA U17 World Cup in Mexico.
He also coached APR FC as an interim manager. One of his most notable achievements came in 2020 when he guided Rwanda to the quarter-finals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Cameroon.
