Volleyball: REG coach downplays pressure ahead of APR tie

Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda Energy Group (REG) Volleyball Club head coach Jean Patrice Ndaki Mboulet has said that he doesn’t feel pressure ahead of his team’s showdown with rivals APR VC on Friday, November 29, 5PM, at Petit Stade.

REG and APR are both in the second place of the league table with six points each, behind Police VC which is leading with 12 points, standing as the only undefeated team.

“We are focused on enjoying the game and executing our strategies,” he told The New Times during an exclusive interview, as he reflected on the long-term goal for REG this season.

“Our priority is to remain in the top four and peak during the playoffs. Last season taught us that being the first in the regular season doesn’t guarantee the title. This time, we will focus on consistent performance and save our best for the playoffs,” he added.
