Africa-Press – Senegal. Senegalese team AS Douanes qualified on Sunday in Kigali (Rwanda) for the semi-finals of the third season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) 2023, after their success ( 93-73) on the Mozambican one of the Ferroviário Da Beira.
The 2022 Senegal champions led 52-37 at halftime.
The first semi-final will oppose the Stade Malien team to the Egyptian one, Al Ahly.
AS Douanes will face the winner of the match between Petro de Luanda (Angola) and Abidjan Basket Club (Côte d’Ivoire) scheduled for 5:30 p.m. GMT.
During its first participation in 2021 at the BAL, AS Douanes stopped in the quarter-finals.
