Africa-Press – Senegal. The leaders of Chelsea (English elite) have reached « a complete agreement » with Villarreal (Spain) to secure the services of their Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson, announced, Friday, Fabrizio Romano, journalist Italian specialist in player transfers.
« Des sources de Villarreal confirment avoir accepté que Chelsea paie un peu plus de 35 millions d’euros [près de 23 milliards de francs CFA] de clause libératoire », a indiqué M. Romano.

If he manages to sign with the London club, he would be the fifth Senegalese international to wear the blue tunic after Demba Ba (2013-2014), Papy Mison Djilobodji (2015), Edouard Mendy (since 2020) and the current national team captain, Kalidou Koulibaly (since 2022).
