The French of Senegalese origin, Philippe Diallo, who has held the interim presidency of the French Football Federation (FFF) since February, was officially elected on Saturday as head of the governing body of the French football at a general meeting held in Paris, several French media reported.
Philippe Diallo elected with 91.26% of the votes, had been propelled in February to the head of the presidency of the French Football Federation to ensure the interim of Noël Le Graet who had resigned.
His mandate will end in 2024, the period at which the mandate of his predecessor was to end.
