Africa-Press – Seychelles. Dynamic general management training courses on Mahé and Praslin
It has taken a very long time – 48 years – for our beloved Seychelles to emerge from the quagmire of the dark old days when the coup d’état in 1977 plunged our country into a cesspool of murder, rape, disappearances, torture, land confiscation, loss of employment, forced exile, inter alia, into a modern and vibrant society ready to shed the old image and make a new start. There are many forces involved in such a turn round and management training happens to be one of the forces which can contribute towards positive achievements along the way to recovery and prosperity.
We are a poor nation yet we are surrounded by natural resources such as oil in our sea, an abundance of fish in our ocean and sunlight all day long that we have failed to develop because of the political mentality that has prevented progress and prosperity for our nation. Hopefully 2025 will herald a metamorphic change in political mind set and we can emerge from the precipice we were plunged into by the 1977 coup d’état.
