Africa-Press – Seychelles. The committee responsible for the organization of the 50th anniversary of Seychelles Independence has officially launched the national theme and logo for this year’s celebration.
This was during a press conference yesterday in the conference room of the National Sports Council (NSC), Roche Caiman. The event, which is celebrated on June 29, marks a major milestone in the history of Seychelles as it will be its golden jubilee.
Present to address the media was the Chief Minister, Wallace Cosgrow, in his capacity as chairman of the national committee, accompanied by the vice-chairman, Penny Belmont. They revealed the vision behind the major celebration that will take place under the theme: ‘Our People – Our Identity – Our Destiny’
