Africa-Press – Seychelles. It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of one of our centenarians, Marie Aline Adela, who was 102 years old yesterday, at Anse François, Pointe Larue.
The last time our team met him was in September 2022, the day of his birthday.
Mrs. Marie Aline Adela had 11 children and she had to raise her children alone after losing her husband in 1963. Her last child was only four months old. Ms. Adela had difficulty walking and she needed help to move. She was beginning to forget the moments of this life.
Talking to the press, on her birthday, she told us “I can’t do anything these days.” In the morning after my little cares, I sat down in my chair and tried to watch television. I eat everything that is given to me. From time to time I also take a small glass of wine. In the past I have worked a lot especially in the cinnamon industry and I know everything to do.
Press presents its deepest condolences to the family of Mme Adela.
