“In this moment of transition, between a year that is ending and a new year that is beginning, I am addressing you not only as citizens, but as one big Seychellois family, scattered and united across our islands and around the world.
“The year 2025 marked a new chapter in our history.They chose solidarity, justice, and a future based on equality for all.
“Since I took over as President of the Republic, we have begun to take important decisions that reflect the will of the Seychellois people, and I remain committed to working for the welfare of all Seychellois.
“All progress in our history has been based on our belief that a better life for our people is not just an aspiration but a reality.
“Through vision, discipline and courage, we have never let any challenge determine our destiny.
“My wish for the new year is simple; instead of doubt, instead of fear, instead of division let us move forward, with more determination and more confidence.
“Our strength is not only unity, but also in our ability to believe in ourselves, take responsibility, and believe in the future of our country.
“When we stand together, no challenge is bigger than us.
“In 2026, let us strengthen this belief, become more united, let us create more prosperity for every household, let us protect our oceans for generations and let us ensure that our future community is full of opportunities.
“To our youth, lead with creativity, work with integrity to fulfill your dreams, reject slander and selfishness. You must not forget that the future of our country is in your hands.
“To our elderly, continue to give us strength through their wisdom, their sacrifice and love for our country.
“For all Seychellois, may our solidarity for each other remain the compass that guides us towards a bright future.
“May this new year bring peace, health, and new hope to all of us.
“May God bless you.
“May God bless our country Seychelles.
“Happy New Year 2026.”
