Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Former President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma has hosted the Ghana’s High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, Her Excellency Mrs. Worwornyo Agyeman.
According to reports, the rationale behind her Visit is to interact with her compatriots living in different parts of the country.
“I was pleased to receive the Ghanaian High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, Her Excellency Mrs. Worwornyo Agyeman,” Koroma stated.Commissioner Agyeman recently hosted 14 ECOWAS citizens selected by the coordinator of the ECOWAS Volunteers Programme(EVP).
The Volunteers are mainly from Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone.They are young men and women from the ECOWAS Sub-region to be deployed to various communities in Sierra Leone, mostly teachers and medical personnel and they are expected to contribute to the economic and social development of the host country.
