Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Former Member of Parliament, Hon. Ibrahim Bundu, In a recent interview with Liberty Online Tv shed light on the deeply rooted partisan ideology affecting Sierra Leone’s political landscape.
Speaking on the matter, Hon. Bundu noted that the country has reached a point where partisanship has gone “too far,” stressing that it has not worked in advancing national development and, if left unchecked, will never work.
He emphasized the need for a sincere national conversation on how political divisions have undermined progress, created mistrust among citizens, and stalled inclusive governance.
Hon. Bundu called on Sierra Leoneans to begin rethinking the role of political parties, shifting focus away from blind loyalty and towards unity, collaboration, and policies that directly benefit the people.
“This is the time for us to put the interest of Sierra Leone above partisan politics,” he said.
