Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Sierra Leone’s Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah, has been honored with a prestigious regional award, recognizing him as the Best Minister of Information in West Africa.
The Certificate of Honor was presented to Minister Bah by representatives of Afriqu Europe Magazine.
The award celebrates his “exceptional leadership and professionalism” in advancing public communication and civic education within the country.
According to the organizers, the selection was conducted by the Africa Diaspora Journalists Network. The network praised Minister Bah for his dedication to transparency, open access to information, and fostering credible communication between the government and its citizens.
The award was presented by Lokombe Nkalulu, Editor-in-Chief of Afriqu Europe Magazine, and Abdoul Rahaman Bah, an Investigative Journalist.
In a statement, the presenters described the award as a recognition of Minister Bah’s work in strengthening public trust in government information systems.
