APC Launches South-East Membership Registration Tour

Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The All Peoples Congress (APC) is set to begin a membership registration and verification tour across districts in the South-East region, starting on Saturday, 1st June 2025.

The announcement was made in a public notice issued by the Office of the National Secretary-General on 29th May 2025.

The registration team will begin the tour in Bo District, then move to Kailahun on 3rd and 4th June, followed by Kenema on 5th and 6th June. From there, the team will visit Pujehun on 9th and 10th June, Bonthe on 11th and 12th June, and Moyamba on 13th and 14th June. The date for Kono District is yet to be confirmed.

Each visit will last for two days and will involve collaboration between the National Membership Registration and Verification Team and local party executives. The process is aimed at updating the party’s membership records and helping members who have already paid through Rokel Commercial Bank or the Orange Money Integrated Payment Solution (OMIPS) but have not received their membership forms.

District Chairmen have been instructed to prepare venues in their headquarter towns and provide support throughout the exercise. According to the APC, the entire process will be carried out in line with the party’s constitution and is expected to help strengthen the registration process across all regions involved.

The tour takes effect immediately, with the first team arriving in Bo on the set date.
