Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The management of Bhantal Football Club visited the offices of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) on Tuesday to thank President Babadi Kamara for his support during the club’s recent continental campaign.
The meeting, held at the SLFA headquarters in Kingtom, focused on the association’s assistance during Bhantal FC’s CAF Confederation Cup preliminary rounds against Guinean side Hafia FC.
Bhantal FC’s Chief Executive Officer, Abdul Haziz Jalloh, commended Kamara for his significant contribution to the team’s international efforts. This included providing free access to the Southern Arena stadium and offering vital logistical support both in Sierra Leone and during the away leg in Ivory Coast.
“We are very grateful for your service. Your assistance gave us joy to compete internationally,” Jalloh said.
In response, SLFA President Babadi Kamara congratulated the club on its achievement, noting that few Sierra Leonean clubs have reached the continental stage.
He urged Bhantal FC to maintain its professionalism and discipline for future success.
“It’s an honor for a few Sierra Leonean clubs to play at the international level,” stated President Kamara. “Keep doing the right thing and keep the flag flying.”
