Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has underscored the critical role of education in empowering young people and laying the foundation for peace and national cohesion.
Speaking during Juma prayers at the Milton Margai Central Mosque on Friday 25 April 2025, the VP Juldeh Jalloh described education as a transformative force that is essential for building a united and prosperous Sierra Leone.
“There is an inextricable link between education and youth development in building national cohesion and ultimately driving shared prosperity for our nation,” he told worshippers, reaffirming the government’s commitment to human capital development.
He also reiterated President Julius Maada Bio’s call for national prayers and interfaith unity, urging both Muslims and Christians to be agents of positive change in shaping Sierra Leone’s future.
