Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Former President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, visited President Julius Maada Bio at the State House in Freetown on Wednesday, July 2nd.
The former head of state and President Bio had a productive meeting, where she congratulated him on his election as Chairperson of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States [ECOWAS].
During their engagement, Madam Sirleaf underscored the vital role of collaborative leadership in driving the Africa regional goals forward.
Though the purpose of Madam Sirleaf engagement with President Bio was not disclosed, Sierra Leoneans are optimistic that their meeting is for the betterment of both countries.
