Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. A Delegation from the Ethiopia Airlines has paid a courtesy Visit to the Director General of the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA) Madama Musayeroh Barrie.
It was reported that they had a fruitful discussion on the Commencement of the Ethiopia Airlines operation in the Freetown International Airport(FNA), Via Ouagadougou on May 31st 2024.
On February 23rd 2024, Ethiopia Airlines announced the start of new passenger service to Freetown, Sierra Leone. The thrice-weekly flights will operate via Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, beginning on May 31st, 2024.
The new service suggests the airline’s continued expansion within West Africa and its commitment to connecting more African nations.
The route is expected to provide passengers with convenient travel options and boost tourism, trade, and investment opportunities between Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, and Burkina Faso.
