Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Sierra Leone’s national football team, the Leone Stars, have strengthened their camp ahead of Tuesday’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Ethiopia with the arrival of striker Musa Kamara of Ports Authority and midfielder Mohamed Kamara of Bai Bureh Warriors.
Both players joined the squad in Monrovia as Head Coach Mohamed Kallon continues to fine-tune his team’s preparations.
Meanwhile, Tyrese Fornah of Northampton Town FC has temporarily returned to England to attend to an urgent family matter.
Despite Fornah’s absence, the squad remains focused and highly motivated. Coach Kallon has been pushing the team through intensive training sessions, sharpening tactics, and demanding maximum effort from each player. The energy and determination within the camp underscore the importance of the upcoming clash for the players and for the nation.
Every drill, sprint, and tactical session is part of the Stars’ preparation for the showdown at the SKD Sports Complex.
With key players now in camp, Sierra Leone looks poised to deliver a strong performance against Ethiopia.
