Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs has on the 2nd May 2024 officially launched the National Tourism Strategic Plan for the growth of the sector.
It was reported that, the national strategic tourism plan idea serves as a roadmap to improve on the country’s tourism and make the sector very proactive in attracting foreign investors and investment that will be of great impact to the country.
It was maintained that the tourism industry in the country has grown significantly in providing job opportunities and increase revenue generation in the sector.
In his statement, the Hon Vice President Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh thanked Minister Nabeela Tunis and team for crafting a sustainable historical document that will enable the tourism industry to thrive in better path as well as having great impact on the nation.
He said, the sector has played a great role and still continue to have a greater impact and potentials in the country.
He revealed that, the government has supported business owners in the Tourism industry in ensuring that tourism becomes a solid contributor to economic growth.
