The Ministry of Information and Civic Education (MoICE), in collaboration with Africell Sierra Leone, on Tuesday conducted a comprehensive walkthrough and planning session at the Miatta Civic Centre and the wider Youyi Building complex, the designated venue for the highly anticipated Salone Civic Festival 2025.
The joint session was aimed at assessing the site layout, finalizing branding concepts, and reviewing digital engagement strategies to ensure a dynamic and inclusive experience for all participants.
Both teams explored creative design options that will transform the venue into an interactive hub celebrating Sierra Leone’s progress, civic values, and national pride.
Speaking during the walkthrough, representatives from MoICE emphasized the ministry’s commitment to promoting civic consciousness and highlighting the achievements of the government’s Big 5 Agenda through the festival.
Africell, as a key partner, reaffirmed its support for initiatives that empower communities, foster unity, and inspire positive national conversations.
The Salone Civic Festival 2025, scheduled for 11th 13th December 2025 at the Miatta Civic Centre, promises to be a vibrant showcase of Sierra Leonean creativity, innovation, and culture.
Attendees can look forward to exhibitions, live performances, panel discussions, and digital activations designed to connect citizens and celebrate collective progress.
