Alex Mattia Rogers, Member of Parliament representing Pujehun District, who is also the District’s Caucus Leader in parliament, took a significant step towards empowering women in agriculture by distributing eight Cassava Processing Machines to Kpanga Krim Chiefdom on April 13, 2024.
The event, held at Gobaru Court Barry, witnessed the participation of local leaders, representatives, and stakeholders.
Rogers emphasized the importance of supporting women farmers for food security and poverty alleviation. The initiative aims to enhance productivity, reduce post-harvest losses, and create economic opportunities for women in the region.
