Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. President Julius Maada Bio has announced several new appointments to state institutions, pending parliamentary approval where applicable.
The announcement was made in a public notice released by the Office of the Press Secretary at State House on Monday, July 7, 2025.
Dr. Michael Johnny has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT).
Ms. Sally Yeama Myers will join the Board of the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank as a new member.
Additionally, Paramount Chief Amy Tator Kallon Tibbie II has been appointed as a Board Member for the Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO).
The appointments were formally signed by Yusuf Keketoma Sandi Esq., Press Secretary to the President.
