Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone is among several African leaders currently in Kenya for the high-profile IDA-World Bank Group Africa Heads of State Summit.

The Summit, co-hosted by the World Bank and its International Development Association (IDA), tackles a crucial theme: securing robust IDA resource replenishment to propel regional development and address key financing needs across Africa.

Leaders are focusing on the most pressing issues hindering the continent’s development.

Joining President Bio are a number of his counterparts, including:

Andry Rajoelina, President of Madagascar

Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, President of Malawi

Samia Suluhu, President of Tanzania

Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of Somalia

General Évariste Ndayishimiye, President of Burundi

The World Bank Group President, Ajay Banga, is also participating in the Summit.
