Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Minister of Youth Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Sannoh, attended the quarter-final match between Grassfield Community and Rokel Community on Saturday, 25th October 2025, where Grassfield emerged victorious with a 3-2 win, securing their place in the semi-final stage of the competition.
Minister Sannoh was accompanied by Youth Commissioner Joseph Maada Lahai. His presence added significance to the event, particularly as Umar Fuad Bawoh (AWWO), a board member of the National Youth Commission, also serves as President of Grassfield Community.
During the engagement, the Minister used the platform to intensify his campaign against drug abuse, highlighting the harmful effects of kush on the nation’s youth. He encouraged young people to embrace sports and other productive activities that promote well-being.
