Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Head Coach Dominic John Konneh has unveiled a final 21-man squad for the National Under-17 Male Team, set to compete in the upcoming WAFU Zone A Tournament in Bamako, Mali.
The October 2025 tournament is a crucial qualifier for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, offering a continental stage for the nation’s emerging football talents.
Expressing strong confidence in the selected players, Coach Konneh stated, “We are determined to represent the nation with pride and dignity. I am confident that with the current squad and my backroom staff, we are going there to make a big difference and make Sierra Leone proud.”
The final squad is composed of three goalkeepers, six defenders, seven midfielders, and five forwards. The selected players are:
Goalkeepers: Sidikie Sankoh, Alieya Rex Turay, Abu Bakarr Falama
Defenders: Noah Kamara, Mark Ibrahim Mansaray, Nelson Fatorma Mbayoh, Milton Tucker, Mohamed Sesay, Abrahamson Kamara
Midfielders: Musa Fofanah, Alusine Kamasieri, Amantino Thomas Dollar, Ezekiel Fofanah, Conrad Kweku Ekumah, Umar Sesay, Ivan Tommy Bendu
Forwards: James Jusu Kanja, Musa Alie Samura, Mohamed Kallon, Abu Bakarr Sidibay, David Ayodele Ezinwa Stober
