Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Sierra National U20 team has secured their first Victory against Mauritania on Tuesday, 22nd May, 2024 at the Stade Lat Dior in Senegal.

The match was intensely contested, with both teams displaying strong defensive tactics. Despite numerous efforts, the game ended in favour of Sierra Leone.

Two goals from Kadiatu M. Kamara and Juliet Brima in the 41st and 43rd minutes were enough for the Sierra Queens to secure their win in WAFU Women’s Opener.

Sierra Leone’s skipper, Kadiatu M. Kamara wins the woman of the match award after an impressive performance with a lone goal to help Sierra Leone edged their opponent.
