Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA) has strongly dismissed recent social media reports alleging an ongoing recruitment exercise at the Authority, describing them as entirely false and deceptive.
In an official statement issued on Tuesday, the SLPHA made it clear that no recruitment process has been initiated, nor has any formal announcement regarding employment opportunities been released.
“The Authority has not initiated any recruitment process at this time, nor has it issued any official notices regarding employment opportunities,” the statement read.
The public is therefore advised to disregard such unverified claims and avoid engaging with individuals or groups fraudulently posing as representatives of the SLPHA.
Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and accountability, the Authority emphasized that all genuine recruitment announcements will be made solely through its official website and recognized media platforms.
SLPHA further urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious recruitment-related activities to the nearest police station or contact the Authority directly via its official communication channels.
“The Management of the Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority remains devoted to serving the nation with integrity, professionalism, and accountability,” the statement concluded.
