The newly elected National Publicity Secretary of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), Mr. Moses Sellu Mambu, paid a courtesy visit to Her Excellency Madam Fatima Maada Bio, First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone. The meeting was part of Mr. Mambu’s ongoing consultations with key party stakeholders as he works to strengthen internal communication and public outreach.
During the engagement, discussions centered on enhancing the Office of the Publicity Secretary to meet the evolving needs of the party and the public, improving collaboration with government ministries and agencies to ensure accurate and timely communication, promoting the President’s Big Five Game Changers, and fostering unity among party members ahead of the 2028 general elections. Capacity building within the Publicity Secretary’s office for effective campaigns and information dissemination was also highlighted.
In her remarks, the First Lady assured Mr. Mambu of her support in promoting peace, cohesion, and unity within the party. She congratulated him on his appointment and encouraged him to work in the best interest of both the SLPP and the nation.
