Police hunt for gunmen who killed three men in Cape Town's Delft South

Africa-Press – South-Africa. Police have launched a manhunt for gunmen who shot dead three people at Jerusalem informal settlement in Delft South, Cape Town.

The incident took place on Sunday evening.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa said the police were called to the scene and found the three bodies. The three victims, who were all males, were certified dead by paramedics at the scene.

“It is alleged that yet-to-be-identified gunmen opened fire on the three victims about 20:50 on Sunday and fled. The motive for the shooting incident is yet to be determined,” Potelwa said.

Police have appealed to anyone with information to come forward.

There have been a number of mass shootings across areas in Cape Town in the last few weeks, including in Khayelitsha, Endlovini and Manenberg.
