Africa-Press – Tanzania. PRIME Minister Kassim Majaliwa has said that the sixth-phase government has made improvements to the education curriculum to match global economic changes, including the high demand for youth employment.
The Prime Minister said this today, August 6, 2025, when speaking to students and teachers of Lucas Malia Girls’ Secondary School in Ruangwa, Lindi region, during a ceremony to congratulate Form Six students who performed well in the national examinations held in 2025.
He said that in recognition of this, the leadership of President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan decided to invest in the sector to ensure that Tanzanian children receive quality education at all levels.
“These changes have made our curricula that will be taught in schools so that every student, upon completion, can use the environment in which he is and the profession they have to transform it into an economy.”
He explained that development in the education sector is the savior and success of any nation in the world.
“Those of you who are in school and those who are coming, realize that we have important areas to educate you, you will receive a good and solid education that will give you knowledge and skills so that you can face various social and economic challenges.”
Reading out the results of the sixth form for the year 2025, the Vice Principal of the School Amon Chalamila said that the school registered 188 students where all of them took the exams and 90 students got the first grade, 95 students got the second grade, three students got the third grade and no student got the fourth grade and zero. “This achievement is equivalent to a GPA of 2.34”.
