Africa-Press – Tanzania. ZANZIBAR: The finals of the 2024 CRDB Federation Cup will now be held at New Amaan Sports Complex in Zanzibar on June 2nd.
The game will see defending champions Young Africans facing Azam in a red-hot clash whose winner bags the lucrative title.
Initially, it was scheduled at Tanzanite Stadium in Babati, Manyara region but now, it is the turn of Isles residents to enjoy the finale.
According to the statement supplied through the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) on Wednesday, some important infrastructures in Manyara to host the high profile game are yet to be completed.
“We urge authorities in Manyara to keep upgrading the concerned infrastructures in order to host other upcoming competitions,” it said.
Furthermore, the statement stressed that Zanzibar’s Minister for Information, Youth, Culture and Sports Tabia Mwita has been invited as the guest of honour.
