Africa-Press – Tanzania. NINETEEN bodies of victims of the Precision Air plane crash have arrived at the Kaitaba Stadium in Bukoba Municipality, Kagera region to allow mourners pay their last respect, an event that will be led by Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa.
At least 19 out of 43 people who were traveling from Dar es Salaam on Sunday died in an accident after a failed landing at Bukoba Airport due to bad weather and crashed into Lake Victoria.
Relatives of the deceased, religious and government leaders as well as citizens have arrived at the Stadium to pay last respects to their loved ones.
Five out of eight employees of the Management and Development for Health (MDH) who were traveling in the plane also died.
Others are the pilots, Burundi Lubaga and his assistant Peter Odhiambo as well as two sisters from the same family.
