Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Chama cha Mapinduzi’s parliamentary candidate for Bukombe constituency, Dr Doto Biteko, has pledged to transform Uyovu into a commercial hub if re-elected in the upcoming elections.
Biteko made the statement during a campaign rally in Uyovu Ward, Bukombe District in Geita Region, as part of the presidential, parliamentary, and councilor election campaigns scheduled for October 29 this year noting that choosing CCM is the wise decision that residents should make since CCM is determined to push for more infrastructure development to attract greater business activity in the area.
Additionally, Dr Biteko said that the party will provide a total of 200bn/= loan fund for youth and women to support business ventures, including those in Uyovu.
Emphasizing, he said that in the next five years, Uyovu will experience even greater development, while urging voters in the ward to turn out in large numbers on October 29 and vote for CCM.
Moreover, he said that all the developments taking place in the region and the country in general are not by chance but due to the efforts of their Presidential candidate, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan.
Elaborating, Dr Biteko stated that Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan has brought significant development to Uyovu Ward, and for that, the people have every reason to vote for her in large numbers.
Moreover, he said that during her five years of leadership, Uyovu Ward has built 11 public primary schools and one private school, up from only three schools previously, seven secondary schools, and one high school (A-level).
Moreover, he cited the presence of two schools for children with special needs, one located in Uyovu and the other in Ushirombo, as part of CCM’s efforts in the region.
